The Krabi Character Boat Raid brings together a fleet of ten distinctive small sailing boats for a relaxed weekend of sailing, good food and good company. Designed initially as a fun local event for sailors, families and friends, the Raid is about enjoying the boats and sharing the experience rather than crossing a finish line first.

The weekend begins at Krabi Boat Lagoon on Friday afternoon with crew registration, a briefing and the chance to meet the boats and fellow participants.

On Saturday morning the fleet sets off on its main adventure, sailing together through the local waters before stopping for lunch at a local fishing restaurant. The afternoon passage brings everyone back to the Boat Lagoon, followed by an evening barbecue for crews and friends.

Sunday starts at 09:00 with a relaxed three- to four-hour cruise before the fleet returns to base. The crew packs away boats and equipment together, bringing a sociable weekend on the water to a close.
